In June we celebrated the queen's platinum jubilee. We enjoyed workshops learning about changes over the last 70 years as well as incorporating the queen and her jubilee into all other areas of our learning. We have created art work, sewed, painted, baked and so much more! We even dined like royals with a picnic on the playground sporting the crowns we made over the week!

As part of our Jubilee celebrations, children have been drawing and painting flowers which Miss Qureshi has used to create a wonderful portrait of the Queen.

At her coronation the Queen was presented with a copy of the Authorised (King James) Version of the Bible and vowed to be a defender of the Christian faith. The Trinitarian Bible Society marked the occasion by publishing a special Platinum Jubilee Bible, a copy of which has been offered to every child in Year 6.
