Downderry had a fantastic time celebrating the coronation of our new King Charles III.

The children took part in a wonderful royal drama workshop. During this, they found out all about King Charles and acted out the coronation itself!

Classes celebrated the coronation of King Charles III with a range of exciting activities, for example, in Reception, the children created silhouettes of our new King and made a special jam roly-poly treat.

During music assembly, the children have also enjoyed learning patriotic songs with Mr Green, you can find these above. We finished our celebrations on the Friday with a special royal lunch of fish and chips and a royal cupcake. Have a look at the pictures and clips of our activities across the school.
