London Mini Marathon 2023

Saturday 22nd April 2023

On a sunny morning, in Central London, children from all over the country participated in the London Mini Marathon. Competitors started at Horse Guards Parade, ran past Buckingham Palace and finished along The Mall, at the finish line used by the London Marathon.

All the children who participated found it a real challenge (as it should be), but all completed the event and received their medal to remind them of their wonderful achievement (some even made an appearance during the television coverage of the London Marathon - see below).

Well done to all the children from Downderry Primary School who completed the 2023 London Mini Marathon. We are very proud of you.
