Downderry Students Race the Best in London

Well done and congratulations to Maija and Isaiah in Year 6 for representing the London Borough of Lewisham at the London Youth Games Cross Country Competition. They raced against the best athletes in London (and probably some of the best in the country). Out of 33 teams, Maija helped the girls’ team from Lewisham come 24^th, while Isaiah helped the boys’ team come 14^th. Well done to both students. We are very proud of you.

INTRA-SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY EVENT

MUDDY FUN IN THE SUN

On a beautiful Wednesday morning, all children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 participated in our inaugural cross-country event. The pupils completed the course with a positive attitude and, although they finished a little muddier than they had started (some muddier than others!), they also finished with a sense of pride at having completed the course. Well done to everyone who took part.
