From Strength to Strength
Downderry Primary School has maintained high standards in the quality of our teaching and learning throughout the pandemic, and this has been reflected, once again, in our fantastic results. Children have caught up from lost learning time0 and are achieving well above the national averages in the majority of areas, while our Year 6 cohort are leaving with attainment in line with pre-covid levels.
The impact of our high expectations is that children leaving our school at the end of Year 6 are, better than ever, well-prepared for the next stage of their learning journey.
We are very proud of all of our Year 6 leavers and we would like to thank all of the children, parents, staff and governors for their hard work, helping make our school the successful place that it is!
