Summer Fair
Fri 10 Jul 2015We would like to thank all parents, carers, children, friends and family that attended and donated items for our sensational Summer Fair last Saturday. It was a brilliant success with many activities and performances from the children, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed! We would like to give a special thank you to all the Parent Reps that devoted their time to support in the preparations for the fair and running of the day itself.
We raised a record breaking £1,133.20! This money will be used for things such as the 100% attendance gift vouchers and year 6 leavers prom to support and praise the children in our school.
The bake off winners will be announced in next week's newsletter so look out for your name if you entered!

Sports Day
Fri 03 Jul 2015It was was the hottest day of the year weather wise, and competition wise, Downderry's annual Sports Day returned, and it was a scorcher!
The house teams were out in full spirit, as were all the fantastic supporters. It was a great day of inflatable races, space hoppers, beanbags and more. All the children tried their hardest and we had some great running results! It was great seeing the children representing their house and the school in such a superb manner. Another successful Sports Day.
The support, from both the pupils and spectators, was fantastic, so a MASSIVE thank you to everyone.
