TEACHING ASSISTANT  WITH POSSIBILITY OF COVERING CLASSES (IF QUALIFIED)  

FIXED TERM UNTIL JULY 2027

SCALE 3 – 22 ½  Hours per week (9.00 a.m – 3.00 p.m) – Term Time Only

Downderry is looking for skilled, experienced, highly-motivated, resilient and enthusiastic teaching assistants to support teachers and students to achieve their full potential within the teaching and learning environment.

They should have a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards with the ability to motivate to ensure learning is always the main focus in school, whilst being a positive role model. If you hold an HLTA qualification you may be asked to cover classes in all year groups. SEND experience is desirable. This post is for a fixed term position till July 2027.
