In 2025, the Downham Estate will be turning 100 years old!

Built in 1925, this estate is a cornerstone of our community with a rich history. To make this milestone truly special there will be community events with local residents other local organisations taking place throughout the year. Downham 100 Community Garden

Members of the local and school community have started work developing the corner plot between Downderry and Bonus Pastor to commemorate 100 years of Downham and the creation of a Legacy Garden. A special thank you to the Parents of Archie and Casper, Ted and Azia and Alexandra- who donned gardening gloves, rolled up their sleeves and offered a few hours of their time to clear the site. Over 20 bags of rubbish were cleared!

A group of Year 6 children, together with Mrs Fawcett and staff and pupils from Bonus Pastor completed the landscaping and seating area ahead of planting in the coming weeks.
