Election fever has hit Downderry! This week the British public have voted to elect their new Prime Minister and our pupils wanted a slice of the action.

“Yesterday we held our own General Election. Children got to vote for the 3 main political parties. Justin represented Labour, Ovue the Liberal Democrats and Shifa represented the Conservatives. Our candidates delivered their manifestoes in the morning assembly. Our results for the Downderry constituency placed Labour 1st.”
