Please try to keep to these times and avoid blocking the school entrance and exit points...

Downderry offers an extended day, from 7:45am - 6:00pm, providing a Breakfast Club, after-school activities and an after-school "Forest Club" for our pupils and local community.

Please note, as of 7th September 2020, staggered drop off and pick up times are operating.

 

Nursery:

9:00am Children Centre entrance

Part time collection: 12:00pm

Full time collection: 3:00pm

 

Adults should wear a face covering when dropping off and collecting

 

Reception:

At Key Stage 1 gate

Gate open 8:50-9:00am

Collection: 2:45pm-3:00pm

 

Key Stage 1:

At Key Stage 1 gate

Gate open: 8:30am

Children should go to their class line and will be escorted into their classrooms

Collection: Gate open 2:55pm

 

Key Stage 2:

At Key Stage 2 gate

Gate open: 8:30am

Children should go to their class line and will be escorted into their classrooms

Collection: Gate open 2:55pm

 

Adults collecting should wait behind the steps and remain socially distanced. Exit is by Downderry road lower gate.

 

Please only arrive for your pick up time as we do not want the playground to become congested. You must leave as soon as you have collected your child.

 

Please remember that any student absence needs to be reported on a daily basis by telephoning the office on 0208 698 5768 before 10am. You must also remember to send in a letter with the student on their first day back explaining the reason for their absence.

 

To promote good attendance at Downderry, the children receive weekly, termly and annual awards for good punctuality and attendance.
